Oyster Tempura

Oyster Tempura is a delightful Japanese dish where oysters are dipped in a light batter and then deep-fried until crispy. They're usually served with a dipping sauce and enjoyed hot.

Recipe:

  • Fresh oysters

  • Tempura batter (available in stores or homemade)

  • Soy sauce or tempura dipping sauce

  • Oil for frying

  • Lemon wedges and green onions for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil in a deep-fryer or large saucepan to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

  2. Dip oysters into the tempura batter to coat them completely.

  3. Carefully drop the oysters into the hot oil.

  4. Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.

  5. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  6. Serve hot with dipping sauce and garnished with lemon wedges and green onions.
